Gary Logan the founder of GL Carpet Fitters has worked at Director level for the most respected names in the Carpet industry. GL Carpet Fitting has now built a solid reputation for providing outstanding product knowledge and customer service, Gary has worked on a multitude of prestigious projects during his career and will be pleased to offer a solution to any of your carpet fitting requirements

 

GL Carpet Fitting works closely with  interior designers and architects, this enables Gary to provide an appropriate carpet solution from a simple idea to those of a technically bespoke solution.

We offer professional advice, measuring and fitting is very important. If you purchase a carpet from an independent shop, consider a specialist retailer who’s registered with the Carpet Foundation. They adhere to an OFT-approved code of practice by giving expert advice, written quotes and good aftersales services. If you choose GL Carpet Fitters, you know you have choosen wisely as we are membersof F.I.T.A since 2005 which ois anational association for professional Carpet and Floorlayers.

Getting a good deal

 

If you’ve spotted a carpet you like, shop around for it and haggle for the best price our fitting can be included aspart of your package at the store or we can supply ourservice independantly at the right price if you have negotiated your own deal.

 

Agree the service

 

Decide with the retailer who will clear the room, lift up and remove the old carpet, and whether doors need trimming. We can offer all of these if we are clear at time of estimation so we can offer this as part of the service.

The service may also include checking that loose floorboards are secured and protruding nails are removed. If the floor is uneven, it might be necessary to install hardboard or plywood on top. If you want us to do this ensure we check this for you and include it as part of our estmate before the fitting.
